Privacy notice

This notice informs visitors of our website and people who contact us, in line with Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

2. Personal data we process

Contact and request details: the name, institution and institution type, e-mail address, phone number and message you send us through the quote form, WhatsApp, e-mail or phone.

Security logs: technical records created automatically by our hosting and content delivery infrastructure when you visit the website (IP address, browser and device information, time of visit, page requested).

The website has no user accounts. When you fill in the quote form, your details are not stored on our servers: the form prepares the message in the WhatsApp or e-mail app you choose, and it is sent only when you send it. We do not ask for health data; please do not share patient or health information in your messages.

3. Purposes

To answer your requests and questions, prepare and send quotations, establish and maintain business relationships, verify the authorisation and documents of institutions as required by pharmaceutical regulations, meet our legal obligations, keep the website and our information systems secure, and improve the site with statistics that do not identify you.

4. Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed under Article 5(2) of the KVKK: processing directly related to entering into or performing a contract (c), compliance with the data controller's legal obligations (ç), the establishment, exercise or protection of a right (e), and the data controller's legitimate interests, provided they do not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (f).

5. How we collect it

Partly automated and partly non-automated: through messages you create with the quote form, WhatsApp, e-mail and phone calls; technical logs are collected automatically during your visit.

6. Transfers

Where the law requires, your personal data may be shared with authorised public bodies, and, limited to the purposes above, with the providers we use: website hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), our business e-mail provider and, when you contact us on WhatsApp, the WhatsApp service provider (Meta Platforms).

Some of these providers are located abroad. Transfers abroad are carried out in line with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.

7. Retention

Requests and correspondence are kept for the periods required by the applicable legislation and the limitation periods for possible disputes. Technical logs are kept for the short periods set by the provider for security purposes. Afterwards the data is erased, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request erasure or destruction under the conditions of Article 7; to request that these actions be notified to the third parties the data was transferred to; to object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

9. How to apply

You can send your request in writing to the postal address above or by e-mail to info@metispharma.com.tr, from an e-mail address registered with us or with a secure electronic signature, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are answered free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest.
