What is a pharmaceutical wholesaler?
A pharmaceutical wholesaler (ecza deposu in Turkish) buys medicines and healthcare products from manufacturers or importers and delivers them to pharmacies, hospitals and authorised institutions. In Türkiye, wholesalers operate under the regulations of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK).
A wholesaler's job is not just transport: storing each product at the right temperature, monitoring expiry dates, recording every movement and delivering to the right institution at the right time are all part of the responsibility.
What does Metis do?
